MEMBERS ACTIVITIES

At the Durban Branch of the IWFS we organise regular events aimed at providing our members with the opportunity to partake in, and learn about, the joys of what our founder referred to as the `.... sharing of the pleasures of the table`. 

Functions take place approximately every six weeks, a choice blend of fine and fun dining, various tastings (champagne, wine & tea), and themed lunches. Where possible, we arrange a weekend away to the country-side. There we sample the delights of some remarkable country hospitality institutions dotted around the gentle rollings hills of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, the welcoming South Coast and on the emerald-green North Coast.

Our events are exclusively for IWFS members and their invited guests (when places are available), at an appropriate covering charge. Prospective members are advised to attend two or three of our events as guests before making a final decision on joining our branch.
